Our Services
Empowerment Care Co. provides personalised, community-based support that helps people build confidence, independence and real-world skills in their everyday lives. Drawing on genuine relationships and meaningful experiences, each service is designed to honour individual goals, nurture strengths and create more opportunities to connect, participate and thrive.
Community Access, Social Life & Events
Empowerment Care Co. offers flexible one-to-one support that fits around each person’s routines, energy levels and goals, whether that’s at home, at school, at work or out in the community. Support can include personal care, meal preparation, help with household tasks, shopping, attending appointments, and learning new daily living skills at a pace that feels comfortable and respectful. Support workers focus on building confidence and independence over time, while still making day-to-day life feel easier and less stressful for participants and their families.
Group Programs & Collaborative Supports
This service is all about getting out, staying connected and “living the experience” - from casual outings like cafes, walks and local activities through to concerts, festivals, sporting events and bigger trips away when suitable. Supports are tailored to each person’s interests and schedule, so they can see friends, explore new places, try hobbies and be part of their community in ways that feel safe, fun and age-appropriate. For some people, this might look like an afternoon at the beach or local markets, while for others it could mean planned getaways or special events that create lasting memories with trusted support alongside them.
1:1 Support & Daily Living
Group Programs & Collaborative Supports bring people together in small, supportive groups to build friendships, social skills and confidence while doing activities they genuinely enjoy. These might include social groups, recreation days, creative or sport-based sessions, or shared activities run in partnership with other disability organisations so participants can access a broader mix of programs. Groups are flexible for primary school-aged participants through to adults, with staff focused on inclusion, safety and making sure everyone feels welcomed, heard and encouraged to participate in their own way.
Life Skills, Independence & Future Planning
This service focuses on the practical skills people need to feel more independent and in control of their day-to-day life and future direction. Support might include learning to use public transport, navigating the local community, managing money, planning routines, organising activities, or developing communication and self-advocacy skills. Where helpful, Empowerment Care Co. can also work alongside families, schools and partner services (such as accommodation or coordination providers) to ensure supports are joined up, so participants are not left trying to piece everything together on their own.
